exactlyyy.... i think im mostly ambivalent about pretty much all big haikyuu ships (except iwaoi, who is real true love) bc like u said. canon interax is completely optional and does not exactly mean i will be invested. kagehina has more potential if u stick someone else in there to mess with (oikawa maybe ? i haven't thought too much about oikagehina but if u are interested in elaborating i would love to think about it) or struggle with (atsumu) their dynamic.
