yeah you can really tell fourth wing is just pure tropey id fantasy for the author and i really enjoyed the parts where our interests overlapped but the story was just like... not good 😠i completely agree that there wasnt a proper emotional throughline which made it so frustrating. there are so many interesting thematic hooks that just go nowhere!! ill tune in for the sequel because i want to see more of the dragons but im definitely not expecting a better story lmao
orv remains my reading highlight of the year :') story about stories of all time. im so glad i finally got around to reading it and i would loveee to see jhw postcanon chara study from you!!
