this story ends in light

i started writing up a primer on gdocs but i literally cannot keep up with jdance's rate of content production so i thought i'd just post bits onto dw as i finish them... anyway have YOU ever wanted to stan a group of charming talented lovely dancers who you know nothing about other than their stage name? who sometimes don't appear in videos for months on end and you have no way of knowing whether they're just chilling or if they've left the crew altogether? who have cute momentary interactions with one another in the background that you can flex your body language detective skills on to figure out their friendship dynamics?? if so then i have the perfect answer for you...

 

 

j dance center are a korean dance crew who do kpop covers, original choreo videos, and random play dances. if you watch a few korean rpds you start noticing the same group of really good dancers and that's bc they're all from jdance. imo the best way to stan is to just watch rpds (WHICH IS SO FUN... PERFECT RELAXATION ACTIVITY) and see who you notice and then go and watch some of the covers, which are p much all labelled with names!!

i'm going to start with the first rpd, which is still my fave one:



HIGHLIGHTS:

• 14:24 - mino fiance, with sara, maya and bonnie (+ scope out ray and gundam at the back being supportive besties... adam and ccn also cheering)
• 18:50 - nct 127 cherry bomb, with sara, maya, adam, ray, neo, gundam, bonnie and lime (+ ccn kneeling in the corner)

• neo pink shirt over high necked black shirt
• lime high ponytail, pink hoodie
• ccn white bucket hat, yellow shirt with black diagonal
• aron dark yellow stripy shirt over white shirt (he killed it… esp his uptown funk freestyle + chungha rollercoaster dances)
• ray black cap, pink shirt reading ‘jeep’
• gundam white shirt, pink shirt tied around waist
• bonnie dark pink velvety looking shirt
• roen yellow puma cropped sweatshirt
• j.young fluoro orangey pink jacket zipped all the way up
• linzy light yellow sweatshirt, hair out, bangs
• adam pale pink plain sweatshirt and sweatpants
• choo mustard yellow stripey(?) shirt, black shorts, knee high socks, bangs
• shasah yellow grid jacket with white hood, white shirt, really long hair, bangs
