THOUGHTS: this is my absolute favourite out of literally all the ops and eds it is just perfect to meeeeeeee but specifically the ryoma version... when it kicks into gear at 1:15 [prayer hands emoji] tho the original is also very heartfeeling inducing. the electric guitar riff at the end of the ryom ver actually makes me tear up it makes me feel the same unnameable emotion as metric black sheep

THOUGHTS: this also sounds like a yugioh 5ds ed and has all the emotional and musical elements that i want out of a shounen superpower anime ed... i am a big fan

THOUGHTS: this is literally a yugioh gx ed and makes me really happy especially since i get to hear my beloved highrankers :)

THOUGHTS: something about the instrumental line makes me feel so nostalgic. i really really like the chillness and the vaguely lovestory-esque energy

FAVE LYRICS: i'll be honest i don't really like any of these lyrics but "so that happiness doesn't escape, i want to give you / clear water" does make me tt a bit even tho i don't really get it

THOUGHTS: funky highranker soundtrack for the slapslapkiss ya romance narratives i love so much... gary i love tsunderes. is this relevant to tennis? arguably no but if you think about it... yes
FAVE LYRICS: i want you to let this happen / even if it's a little irrational, does it matter? / don't yawn with that cool look on your face / with all light now gone, shall we talk?

THOUGHTS: it's an alright song, the chorus does bring a smile to my face

THOUGHTS: there's kind of no words for the experience of going through the nonstop harrowing emotional shredder of nats finals and then hearing ~~dear prince~~ai ni yuku yo~~~ after having my body used as a wrecking ball and freshly slammed into the side of a building. i still haven't recovered from the terror so i can't really say i know how i feel about this song

THOUGHTS: this song genuinely makes me cry every time i listen to it like i'm not sure if it's supposed to double up as a kirihara character song but thinking about it like that kills me instantly. there's a slightly weird rap bridge in the full ver but even that is endearing to me.. the way the song finishes on an imperfect cadence and the lyrics "everything i see, everything in my world / prays with a trembling heart / don't let this be the end" just smash my ass through the concrete. KIRIHARA AKAYA MUST INHERIT THE EARTH

THOUGHTS: hmm so i hate this song less when listening to it on 1x speed only and without the ed visuals and ill feelings about the crimes shinteni committed against me. honestly chorus kinda catchy but the first few lines produce such murderous intent in me i can't look past it... i did not enjoy
